ARTISANS OF PLACE

Private and small group journeys, designed with intention.
These are not your typical journey, rather an invitation to meet the artisans of each place.
Each journey is an invitation into the lives of those who define a place — makers, growers, cooks, and cultural stewards — revealing it through what’s crafted, shared, and lived.

Custom curated travel beyond the ordinary

ARTISANS OF PLACE

  • Meet the Makers.

Meeting the makers is where a place begins to reveal itself—quietly, and all at once. It’s stepping into a ceramicist’s studio before the doors open, walking a vineyard with the family who’s worked the land for generations, or sitting at a table where recipes are still passed hand to hand. These aren’t arranged encounters, they’re relationships—built over time, rooted in trust, and shared with intention. Through them, you don’t just see a destination, you understand it—through what’s made, what’s grown, what’s cooked, and what’s cared for. It’s a slower kind of travel, one that stays with you long after you’ve left.

  • Slow Travel.

Travel isn't just about checking off the big tourist sites — and honestly, we know that better than anyone. The real magic happens when you connect with a place on a deeper level, when you taste what the locals eat, wander where they wander, and see a destination through their eyes. That's why our approach focuses on partnering with local experts in every destination we work with — storytellers, insiders, and passionate locals who know the hidden gems that never make it into guidebooks. If you're looking to truly get to the heart of a culture, to experience a place authentically rather than just observe it from the outside, we can absolutely take you there. Because the best trips aren't just seen — they're felt, tasted, and lived.

  • Sourcing Trips.

These are journeys designed for those who collect with intention. Not from showrooms or markets, but from studios, workshops, and homes — where materials are still shaped by hand and stories are part of the process. You’ll travel slowly, meeting artisans in the places they live and work, with the time and access to source pieces directly, thoughtfully, and without rush. Along the way, what you gather becomes more than objects — it’s a layered understanding of place, craft, and the people behind it. This is sourcing as it should be: personal, considered, and deeply connected.

Our Other Sourcing Options

Artisan sourcing, mentorship, and strategy for brands, buyers, artists and designers

Together, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific needs. For example, if you’re an interior designer sourcing rugs, ceramics, or one-of-a-kind pieces for a project, we position your needs with clarity, guide the creative direction, and source with intention. From there, we can either travel on your behalf to connect with the right artisans or design a journey for you or your team—so you’re sourcing directly, in place, with access that’s considered and meaningful.

One on One Consultation

If you’re looking to connect with artisan partners who truly align with your aesthetic and values,
I offer tailored sourcing grounded in years of experience.

I handle the time, research, and travel — so you can focus on what you’re building, not how to find it.

How it works:

  • You complete a detailed questionnaire outlining your needs, product focus, and ideal vendor profile — this becomes the foundation for a curated mood board I develop to guide the sourcing

  • We meet for a 90-minute call to review the mood board, refine priorities, and discuss potential style of the artisans we need to source

  • Following the call, I curate recommendations, facilitate up to five direct introductions, and provide ongoing guidance as needed

Investment:
Starting at $500 for a sourcing consultation
Custom pricing available for larger or ongoing projects
